The New Kinesis® Freestyle®2 adjustable split keyboard is a breakthrough in ergonomic design. Created with input from ergonomists and health professionals, the Freestyle adapts to the specific needs of each user, minimizing awkward postures (see below), while providing a stylish accent to any workstation.

Featuring simple, sturdy adjustment mechanisms the Freestyle is intuitive to configure and use. Interchangable accessories provide features never before available from just one keyboard design – the Freestyle2™. Three optional accessory packages, the VIP3™, Freestyle V3™ and Freestyle Ascent™ can be purchased to provide additional capabilities. These four configurations allow the user to choose features that offer complete separation, adjustable front splay, and adjustable tenting with or without integrated palm supports.

Other unique features of the Solo keyboard include driverless hot keys for mouse intensive actions, an embedded 10-key (PC only), low-profile design to promote neutral wrist posture, a Pivot Tether™ connecting the two keying modules together and quiet, tactile key switches.

Your Comfort . . .
The only keyboard that adjusts to each individual’s unique body type from petite to large frame.
Infinitely variable splay using pivot tether.
Offers up to 9 inches of complete separation.

Your Style . . .
Sleek, low profile design offers zero degree slope from front to back, reducing wrist extension.
Narrow footprint allows close placement of any pointing device reducing over-reach.

Your Choice . . .
Dramatically thinner design, suitable for both office and travel.
Optional, interchangeable accessories satisfy diverse user needs and allow organizations to standardize on a single-source solution.

The Freestyle Ascent accessory kit provides two multi-angle tenting* modules which attach to the underside of the keying modules, plus a linking plate which may be used to connect the two keying modules if desired.

Tenting angles may be independently set for each keying module in the range of 20 to 90 degrees, in 10 degree increments. Left/right separation is limited only by the length of the keyboard’s linking cable. The standard 9″ separation is adequate for most users, but the 20″ linking cable is recommended for greater flexibility. Keyboards with the 9 inch linking cable may be upgraded to the 20″ cable, please contact DSI’s technical support for further information (1-877-548-7003).

The Ascent can also be used in conjunction with the optional Freestyle palm supports, most aptly suited for the lower tent settings of 20, 30 and 40 degrees.

*Tenting is the elevation of the center portion of your split keyboard. By raising your thumbs, your forearms muscles become relaxed reducing pronation, resulting in significantly improved comfort and blood flow.

The Ascent Accessory Includes:
(1) pair of tenting modules.
(1) linking plate.
